Broadway Meets Bigfork

You may never believe it, but the Bigfork Summer Playhouse is one of our favorite ways to spend summer evenings! Rising college-age and well seasoned actors perform in popular Broadway-style musicals right in downtown Bigfork!

Don’t believe us? Here are some big names under the bright lights.

My first visit here was when we were new to the area (seems like a lifetime ago) when my dad came to visit for a few days. We (Josh and I) surprised him with dinner at Saketome (some of the best sushi you’ll ever eat! Don’t believe me again?? Dine-in reservations book out days, sometimes a week in advance! …anyhow) and a Broadway musical. It was tough to decide which show to see that week, but ‘Something Rotten’ it was. This William Shakespeare parody…had the crowd rolling with laughter!

The acting, the songs, the experience! All of it was top-rated, professional, and an absolute blast!

The shows at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse are phenomenal. In fact, we loved them so much that we decided later that month, when Josh and I made the big decision to move here, (which we now own property here and have no plans of going anywhere anytime soon, except maybe to the lake) that we would hit up every show, every summer. It’s that good!
