Getting Around Flathead Valley Without a Car

Getting around the Flathead Valley including Bigfork and Woods Bay without a car isn’t impossible, but you will want to plan ahead. Ride shares exist, but they may not always be at your beck and call. In some cases, ride shares may drop you off, but they may not pick you up… yikes!!

To make your vacation as seamless as possible, we’ve done a little research, met a few folks, and taken feedback from guests on what the best way is to get around the Flathead — specifically to our little corner of Montana — Woods Bay, Bigfork, and the Flathead Lake areas.

Be sure to make sure each driver is licensed and insured to your liking, and then transportation around Flathead Valley and Woods Bay will be a breeze.

Here are our recommendations, in no particular order. And please tell them Flathead Lake Resort sent you. We don’t make a commission, we just want them to know where the love is coming from.
